Claude & ChatGPT MCP for Levanta

TL;DR

Getting quality answers about your affiliate program often means logging into a dashboard, pulling  reports, and manually feeding data back into other tools for analysis. Levanta’s new MCP server now connects your Levanta data directly to Claude and ChatGPT, so you can ask about creator performance, top products, and program data right inside the AI tools you already use.

Say you want insights and answers about your affiliate program’s performance, maybe which creators are seeing the biggest jump in sales this month, or how this month’s performance compares to last month’s. Today, that means logging into your dashboard, finding the right report, and filtering it down to get the answers you need. Sometimes, that also means exporting the data into a spreadsheet, or even into an AI assistant, for further analysis. It’s not a hard question. It just takes longer than it should to answer.

That workflow detour is a familiar scenario to many affiliate program managers industry-wide. Many affiliate and creator marketing platforms have the same challenge. AI assistants are helpful, but the program data they need is locked away somewhere else. The back-and-forth of inputting data by hand costs time and effort you could have used to improve your program.

This mid-conversation moment doesn’t have to break anymore. Today, we’re announcing the launch of our MCP server, giving Claude and ChatGPT live access to your program data. Now you can get the answers you need without ever leaving Claude or ChatGPT, or logging into your Levanta dashboard.

Here’s a breakdown of what MCP is, why it matters, and how to get started with Levanta.

What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that connects AI assistants to the tools marketing teams use every day. When AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude first emerged, teams used them for writing, brainstorming, and analysis. But those tools had no way to reach the data sitting inside the tools within a business’s affiliate marketing stack, so all performance reporting had to be pulled out and fed in manually. To close that gap, companies built custom AI integrations for each data source, an approach that was often hard to scale.

MCP eliminates that custom-build work altogether. It replaces fragmented, one-off integrations with a single connection, making it easier for AI tools to access the data they need and produce more useful and  relevant answers. Levanta is one of the first affiliate platforms to launch an MCP server.

Why it matters

AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT are increasingly becoming the workspaces of affiliate program managers, but access to real-time data hasn’t kept pace.

Getting answers often requires logging into their affiliate marketing platform, finding the right report, applying filters, and sometimes exporting into another tool just to make sense of it. The tool-hopping delays executing strategic work and making the decisions your data should be driving.

That data is now one question away in the AI tools you use daily. Get the answer you need, right where you already work.

How to get started Levanta’s MCP server

Connecting the Levanta MCP server only takes a few minutes. The integration is available on ChatGPT and Claude for all Levanta plans at no additional cost. However, you will need a supported plan with the AI assistant you decide to connect.

Sign in to your Levanta account, then follow the step-by-step guide in our Knowledge Hub. Once you’re connected, you can ask things like:

  • “Which creators are driving the most sales for my brand?”
  • “Find my top products by commission rate this month.”
  • “Build a product performance report and highlight my best ROAS products.”

This first version of the connector is AI-assisted and human-approved: it’s read-only by design, surfacing what’s happening in your program and helping you decide what to do next. It can’t take action inside your account, so decisions stay with your team.

FAQ

Q: What is the Levanta Seller MCP Server?
The Levanta Seller MCP Server connects your Levanta account to Claude and ChatGPT, so you can ask questions about your affiliate program and get answers directly from your real data, without opening the dashboard. It’s read-only: it can surface your data and build reports, but it can’t change anything in your account.

Q: Which AI assistants does the Levanta Seller MCP Server support?
The Levanta Seller MCP Server currently supports Claude and ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, Levanta is available as an official one-click app. In Claude, you add Levanta as a custom connector; one-click setup is pending Anthropic’s approval.

Q: What is the Model Context Protocol (MCP)?
MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT connect directly to the tools marketing teams use every day. Before MCP, connecting an AI assistant to a platform like Levanta required custom integration development for every tool. MCP standardizes that connection, so any compatible AI assistant can work with any compatible platform.

Q: What can I ask the Levanta Seller MCP Server?
You can ask about your brands, creators with active partnerships, products (including marketplace, commission, availability, and status), and performance, including totals, product-level, and creator-level breakdowns.

  • “Which creators are driving the most sales for my brand?”
  • “Find my top products by commission rate this month.”
  • “Build a product performance report and highlight my best ROAS products.”
  • “Summarize my performance totals for the last 30 days.”
  • “Identify which creator’s performance has been lagging in the last 2 weeks.”

Q: Which Levanta plans include the MCP Server?
The Levanta MCP Server is included on all Levanta plans at no additional cost. You’ll need a supported plan on the Claude or ChatGPT side to connect.

Q: Can I take actions in Levanta through the MCP Server?
Not yet. This first version is AI-assisted, human-approved: it’s read-only by design, so it can read your data and build reports/visualizations, but it can’t message creators, change commissions, or take other actions in your account. That capability is planned for a future release.

Q: How do I get started with the Levanta MCP Server?
Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your Levanta account using your existing login. See the Levanta Knowledge Hub for a step-by-step guide.
